A lasting finish starts with the concrete underneath.

Every floor needs the right preparation and finish for its condition and use.

Prepare

Assess the slab, remove old coatings and address surface imperfections before the next layer goes down.

Grind

Diamond grinding levels and opens the concrete to create a sound base for coatings, overlays or polishing.

Finish

Choose epoxy, metallic epoxy, resurfacing or polished concrete to suit the space and the look you want.

Talk through the right finish

A few things to know.

Good flooring starts with the right preparation for the slab and the space.

What’s the difference between polished concrete and epoxy?

Polished concrete is the existing slab mechanically ground to its chosen sheen. Epoxy is a coating applied over prepared concrete for a seamless, protective finish.

Can epoxy go over old or cracked concrete?

Often, yes. The surface may need crack repairs, grinding and other preparation first so the new coating has a sound base.

How is dust managed during grinding?

Grind 2 Coat uses HEPA-filtered dust extraction systems to capture dust at the source during grinding.

For homes, businesses and industry.

With a family history in concrete installation and preparation, Grind 2 Coat works on residential, commercial and industrial floors across Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.
